Martin Becze will join us to discuss the evolution from eWASM to Primea. Primea is an actor based IPC layer intended for use with WebAssembly programs. It’s expected to launch as a part of the DFINITY tech stack. He’ll be highlighting (covering) a series of topics (differences), including the usage of asynchronous communication and loosening the restriction of atomicity, as well as communication semantics and it’s role in scalability.

Martin does virtual machine research at Dfinity. For background, see his GitHub page [1] and the blog post [2].
