Using Kubernetes, Istio has become even simpler with introduction of the RedHat OpenShift. Join us if you are interested in the latest developments of the enterprise grade Kubernetes deployments.

We will go over some of the RHOS features and show the benefits and differences of using orchestration with RHOS vs vanilla Kubernetes and Istio.

The session is designed for beginners wanting to obtain good notion about the container technology AND for advanced users of Kubernetes, who would like to learn more about the Red Hat OpenShift orchestration management.

In this session you will learn about:
- how to start a containers project - with your first containers image
- deploying an image to the containers registry
- local and cloud development of a system with help of the containers orchestration
- demonstration of the some basic container orchestration functionality: basic operations, checking logs, containers health checking, rollouts and rollbacks
- pros and cons of using vanilla style Kubernetes or Red Hat OpenShift
- where does Istio fit into the picture
