Engineering teams have had constrained access to advanced structural and fluid dynamic computing tools - but GPUs can change this. XCompute Firebird is a new computing platform for computer-aided engineering of complex systems requiring dynamic multi-physics modeling. A ground-up server-client architecture integrates systems, geometry, physics, and graphics - providing an extensible platform for parallel computation of finite element, finite volume, Lattice Boltzmann, and other methods. This talk will highlight current XCompute capabilities, provide an intro to its architecture, and planned uses in propulsion and power systems R&D.
Hacker Dojo members may login to reserve space in the event room up to 48 hours before the event.
Member RSVP does not imply event registration if applicable.
