Details:
Last we met, we digressed, and did not present the foils we had in mind. No complaints, we had a good discussion.

This time, the focus will hopefully be on the foils that we planned to present last time, openmp, multicore, resources etc and ofcourse what all this may mean for the Linux kernel

----------------------------

Industry trends in Uni and Multicore systems will be discussed on the context of Systems Performance and Bandwidth utilization.

This talk will then explore some of the issues leading into the Linux Kernel : Memory Management and Compute/Storage Resource utilization.

We will then attempt some follow-through depth (as much as time would permit) on Linux Kernel-specific issues vis-a-vis Memory Management and Resource Utilization.

Notes:
Please contact me if others may like to present, no confidential info is a given.
